I am very happy with it so far. Made a radical improvement in buffeting and wind noise...and it's only $90.00. I just zipped down the freeway and thru a canyon. Rode all the way with my visor up (I where the Wiley X glasses with changeable lens with my Shurbeth). Had it only to 125 mph -- not sure how it will be at higher speeds, but NO BUFFETING, NO EAR PLUGS, NO LOOKING THRU THE WINDSHIELD... just AC/DC playing ON THE RADIO (had to turn the volume down.)
I think I will hard mount it once I comeback form a road trip this weekend. I will provide performance updates on Tuesday. The guys at Laminar are great! Talk with Leo or Andy -- they will take care of you. Tell them Dave sent you.

I would post pictures, but it never works. Do a Google search for Laminar Products.

Dave,
How tall are you and what is your inseam measurement?
sfoster, can you please post the picture of the GT & tell me the secret of posting pics?
Simple. All you do is navigate to the web page which has the picture you're looking to post on this forum (that would also include flickr.com).
Right click on the picture and select "copy image URL" (that's the wording on a Mac. For windows it will be something similar).
Then in the edit screen to post on this forum, click on the fifth icon from the right above the text input box (between the quote and email link buttons) which is a yellow button with a mountain.
Paste the URL you copied earlier, then click "OK". That will insert a link to the picture. Don't worry about sizing as this forum will shrink the image to fit.
That simple.

Their website has no commentary from any K1600 riders yet. All we have is tqmdave above. I was wondering if this lip is based on the stock screen?
I have the Ztechnic tall screen. Do they make one that attaches to it?
The dimentions are wider on mine. Looks like a good product.
I'm sure someone will complain about the 'white dots' like they did on the headlight protector. I'd like to see some hands-on reports here first.....
