[QUOTE]This mod now complete. Took about 15mins. Started with 10" long 5/32 punch. Cut through steel with ease. Once big enough used a 10" 3/8 punch. Nice and clean and no shavings to clean. Started with the drill but chip first bit. So used planned be to my amaze. Nice deep sound and not annoying to hear.

I finally got around to doing this mod on my GTL and I have to say the sound is so much deeper and I love the new sound. I did the mod slightly differently, I used two different sizes of tapered punches and opened up the two 4.5 mm holes in each of the pinched off pipes.
I started with a 7" 5/32" taper punch to elongate the hole then followed up with a 9" 3/16" taper punch and hammered it in to about the 1/4" diameter mark on the punch then twist the vise grips to get the punch loose, do this to the other seven holes and you will be amazed at the sound.

Dandj, is the air force and USA flag a special mod? Also, what lights do you have just over them? We're they an easy add on? Are they signaling?

Vic I just cut a piece of aluminum and mounted the Skeene designs photon blaster P3 lights with the IQ-160 controller which makes them tail lights, blinkers and brake lights they are very bright. I then added the flag and emblem. Very easy to mod!

Quick question mate.
Fl have any rules on blinker seperation?
I believe here in mass it's 6".
But I'm just curious if it's something that is just here.

Not sure about Florida but I have the same lights mounted on either side of the license plate. That would make them over 6" apart and legal for you.

I don't know if I am breaking any laws but I will check into it and move them to the sides if it is an issue. Thanks for pointing that out because it didn't occur to me it might be a problem.

Stock Exhaust Mod

I used a punch tool do do this mod (See SMDay post) It was very easy and a clean modification no metal shavings or pieces. started with a 5/32 then widened with a larger punch. I suggest using a weighted hammer and earplugs.
The results were noticeable and I was happy with the exhaust note.
props to SMDay for the post

Also, mine (2013 GT) already has 6 small holes on the side of the hole (the top and bottom ones) where you guys are punching it...I don't see these on the pictures posted above. I'll just enlarge them then...
