$300+ oil change. WTF??

I took my 2016 to Dunbar Eurosports for warranty work and an oil change. I pick it up and have a $312 bill for the oil change. Anyone ever had a more expensive oil change than that?

Obviously, I'll do it myself next time but I wonder if I should politely call for an explanation of charges?

Congrats! That HAS to be a record for an oil change. How did the "stealer" justify that? As Paul Harvey would say, there has to be "the rest of the story..."

Sorry but that ain't no record. My local stealer might just have them beat! Here's a picture of my bill for my 6k service. They break out the long knives when it comes time to pay the bill. This bill is half the reason I wont walk into the place anymore.

We need to compare apples to apples. Yours is a full service with several things done. The OP said "oil change".

$300-350 seems to be common for the full service except the 18,000 with valve check and spark plugs etc.

I live nearby Dunbar eurosports in MA as well. Insanely expensive, with dubious return on investment. (Being polite)
I use Max BMW in New Hampshire for all necessary service, even tho much farther away, but they have my complete confidence, and pick up and return bikes free in off season.
Max BMW is largest dealership in USA i am told.

There is Brake fluid in there......did they do a flush/replacement of the fluid?
That would make more sense then....

Otherwise 2.6 hours labor for an oil change?
I could do it blindfolded in that amount of time.
