My dealer (on oil usage) stated; "drive it like a sports car and definitely not like a Harley or you will burn oil!"

This was of course after proper break-in avoiding the constant speed etc.

Hi All, I think I have you all beat. My lovely GTL uses 3 quarts oil in 192 miles. Such a pleasant experience to pull up to the toll both and cloud the poor lady out taking money. Been back to dealer 2 times and on the way back again. I have contacted BMW of North America and am trying to get new bike. I have had too many problems for 28,000 miles .New trans, new ft shock, new switches, now motor is bad .lots of fun
