Same here! My favorite bike prior to this one was my 79 Honda CBX Six Cyl. That bike was way ahead of its time and an absolute beast. It shared some qualities of the K16; It was BIG and Obnoxious to look at, Nimble to ride and insanely fast and sounded like a Porsche 930 screaming by. A drunk driver hit me on that bike and totalled it, nearly taking me with it. The K16 is the refinement and perfection of that bike on steroids! 30 seconds into my test ride and the decision was made! Enjoy, Stay Safe, and watch out for the idiots.

Congratulations! Welcome and glad you are 'feeling it' as I am when riding!!
Loads of great info here and make sure you like sarcasm, laughing, and learning because it is all here.
Enjoy!

This inline six will feel a bit different than the mighty Honda.

Oh, definitely a far superior engine and platform, but right away it reminded me of the Honda in its smoothness and acceleration.

Thanks for the tip. I'm in St. Petersburg just to the north of there.

Is EuroCycle BMW in Tampa a good dealer as well?

Haven't done service at Euro but the sales folk seem nice and they have lots of local events / fans.
