The beauty of this bike is that, if set up right, you can put in a comfortable 1,200 mile day getting to the twisty roads, grab a room, get up the next morning, and keep up with the boys on the little crotch rockets pretty darned well! (I say "little" crotch rockets because I think of the K1600 as a big crotch rocket.) Oh, and my GPS says my GTL has hit 140 mph.
Different tools for different jobs. I test rode an RR 3 days ago and can't stop thinking about it. It was limited to 9,000 rpm though for the break in period which was probably a good thing for my first ride.
