Question Heated clothing

I'm looking for any personal recommendations on heated jacket liners for winter commuting. I've looked at the Keis X25, the Gerbing 12V jacket liner, and the EXO2 StormRider. Are there any others I should consider? Would there be a big difference in warming ability between sleeved and sleeveless? And are trouser liners also worth taking a look at?

Thanks, Iain

I and many other forum members favor WarmNSafe. Whatever liner you buy, make sure it's a snug (not tight) fit. Heated liner is worn close to the body. I'm also partial to their Controller. If it's cold enough for a jacket liner then you'll probably need gloves....

I now use nothing but Warm and Safe heated clothing. The other day I tried a pair of Gerbing gloves that I have had for a few years. Within a few miles my hands were cold, I put on the Warm and Safe gloves and my hands were warm again. Warm and Safe puts extra heat on the outside of your fingers and around your toes.

Gloves, jacket liner, and socks used to be all I needed. With my new Aerostich suit I may need pant liners now as well. Depending on what your gear is and what body needs u may or may not need the pants.
I try to stay away from long trips at 20deg or below. For me, it is uncomfortable even with full heated gear.

I've been using Warm & Safe heated gear for the past decade.

I'm currently on their Generation 4 liner. The stretch panels ensure a snug but comfortable fit, for maximum heat transfer. The front is wind blocking, but the rear is breathable, for maximum comfort. And the liner is water repellant, in case anything leaks through your outer jacket.

And their Heat-troller control dials in just the right amout of heat, with no wasted power.

It just works, and so the Warm & Safe heated liner lives on my bike year-round so it's always available if needed.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from . . .

Except Warm and Safe doesn't make heated gloves in 4XL and you know what they say about guys that have big hands......
