Looks like the rumored R1800 that's been talked about recently. Good fodder for speculation and to incite love/hate reactions. Although, it was the RSD bagger that preceded the B/BGA.

It kind of resembles the R1200CLC from a while back. The front faring, gauges, and running lights specifically. I did not think there was much appeal with those. Hummm

I remember there being decent interest in the CLC, until you rode one and found out it was way underpowered and kinda meh overall.

Perhaps 1800 ccs will fix that...

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full.
All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Thank the Gods that we all have Touring Motorcycles from BMW that we already love!
pkpr1998, amorley and anilx783 like this.

There is thy gold, worse poison to men's souls,
Doing more murders in this loathsome world,
Than these poor compounds that thou mayst not sell.
I sell thee poison; thou hast sold me none.

As per the linked article from the official BMW Motorrad Newsletter: "The heart of the machine is the prototype of a completely new type of opposed-twin boxer engine. This custom build is not a production vehicle and is not offered by BMW NA in the US."

BMW Motorrad has a history of releasing new engines and pre-production bikes to custom bike builders to generate interest in coming new vehicle models and engines.

I can't tell about the Motorrad prototype, but the ZON custom has Dellorto carbs. It doesn't say if those are custom mods, could be.
