Dash bag for K1600

Added the Wunderlich dash bag to my B, fits all k1600's. Really well made. Big enough for phone, wallet, glasses, garage remote, etc.

Designed for easy removal. Replaced two factory screws with snap pins ( see closeup pix ) has a Velcro patch that attaches to the dash down low.

Thinking I'll only use when traveling, not around town but could change mind. It's convenient.

Do these bags effect the airflow between the windshield and fixed fairing effectively modifying the negative pressure effect which the origonal gap creates? Seems like they would......

Raining like you know what outside, have not rode with it yet. Would think there is plenty of room to allow air to move but cannot say until i ride.

Installing accessories while the weather is bad

Looks to be about perfect! I need something like that, but haven't found one yet.

I have one on my B, there's no effect to airflow or other negative. Its the best place to store lipstick so you dont even need to slow down to apply thoise little touch ups. The only drama is; don't load it too full or the windscreen will crush the contents when you power down.

I love mine. Ran the iPhone connection from the pannier up to come in through back of bag which for me is much more convenient. Also Velcro'd my garage door openers there. No issues at all with air flow

Donnas' correct, no change in airflow. Mine only comes off to clean the screen, it's just too dam convenient to put my wallet, phone holder, and OBD2 Bluetooth adapter in it.

It's just as convenient as the little left cuff pocket on my Klime jacket that my key fob fits nicely in.

Wunderlich is the manufacturer. Your dealer can order for you at the same price or you can buy direct on the website.

I have one of these on my GTL. I find the handiest use is the credit card slot when I'm using toll roads in Europe and for petrol (gas) stations.

Eccentric and proud
