Question Opinion on tank bag

Good Day!
I have a 2014 K1600GT. I am looking for input on tank bags and setup. There are a lot of options, so looking for some input and opinion on the subject.
Thanks!
Micah

I've got the RKA and would recommend it. Actually, when shopping for a tank bag, I found very FEW options out there at a reasonable price. What else have you found?

I swore off the use of a tank bag just this past summer after it conspired with the dirt under my feet to topple the big girl. I stopped on uneven ground, and upon leaving turned the bars full tilt to pull around an obstacle. The bars contacted the bag causing all types of consternation and hernia inducing struggles. I'll probably get the Wunderlich Cockpit bag next year.

I have a Cortech. I'll sell it cheap.

That's not good.

Bars don't hit the RKA bag, even at full lock.

Highly recommend RKA for many reasons, not the least of which is their exceptional customer service.

I like RKA but prefer the smallest bag that they make for the GTL. I think it's only designed to hold about 3 liters. For me, it more of a day or weekend bag. I also ran a strap around the handlebar for easy removal.

Look for a gently used bag. I found the OEM BMW bag for $150, still in bag. Guy purchased it, then sold the bike

Lots of existing thread on tank bag suggestions.

I’d buy mine again, Cortech Super 2.0 8 litre. They’re discontinued, but you should be able to find one somewhere.

I have a brand new Cortech Super 2.0 12 litre.... never used. Great bag, just ended up using the RKA instead.

I think it was $90 new, will take any reasonable offer.

I like my RKA bag. Worked well for me. I also have the Wunderlich Cockpit bag, but it's only useful for flat items. The blue liner is nice for finding small stuff.
