Pleased to see so many new members.

Sure seems like there are a whole lot of new members lately. (The spammers, of course, are dispatched to oblivion quickly.)

Is this an indication that K1600 sales are increasing?

Maybe is is the resale of K1600s that is increasing the rider base?

Maybe both?

My guess is that some have ridden the K1600 and like I have warned the few which I have encountered, once you ride this machine you will purchase one.....
Either new or pre-owned/used make no mistake it is a great time!!!

For me... I looked at the K1600 when it first came out, but high prices (dealers were asking sticker +) and the likelihood of first-year gremlins dissuaded me. Ended up buying a Kawasaki C14.

At this point, most of the kinks have been worked out (and BMW has shown pricing flexibility) so I decided to jump on a left over 2015 GT Sport.

Happy with it so far,

I am constantly meeting K1600 riders who have never heard of this forum so I invite them to join. I'm sure many of you are doing the same thing.

Well I'm new here,My choice was made when running out west last year on Interstate 90 SD. I seen a few of the guys haul on by us,That's when I made up my mind,Fast forward I read and looked for a year and found my 14 Exclusive,Low mileage, mint condition, and I found it here.

I am very happy with it so far,I want a different seat (RDL) Different windshield, some Highway Pegs, and I need to work with the J&M intercom, and CB,I have no mic or helmet with speakers, the stereo really not all that great at Highway speeds.
But I really Injoy the bike and figured there was going to be a few things that needed upgrades.

And I came from the HD line I still have a couple, but so far this is my go to bike now........
Also I want to change the High Beam bulbs out,and do the front turn signal lite conversation, and maybe some Hyper lights in the Rear

I JUST WANT TO RIDE

It is great to see so many new members to the k1600 forum. I hope the new K1600B attracts more new riders and forum members. Strength in numbers you know. If I was looking for a bagger I would test drive the K1600B for sure. The test drive will convince you.

I figured you would have bought another one by now. I'm sure you are enjoying the Ducati but we know how fond you were/are of the K16....

I do my research on forums before I buy. Have a couple of bikes that have kept me busy but ready for a long distance bike now.
