Considering a RDL seat

I am considering a RDL seat for my new K1600B. Being 6’-6” I need a little more leg room. Can RDL move the riding position back a few inches to make this a little more comfortable?

Hi Brian, my GTL seat is in production on Wednesday all being well. I'm only a small guy 6'5"- 300lbs and have asked RDL to raise the seat 3" and set it back 3", which they say is the maximum rearward they can do due to the shape of the bike etc.

I live in Austria so it will be another month or so before I get the seat back. So far I can highly recommend RDL. Jay, in their Customer Service, has been very helpful.

Yes, Russell does great work, especially for taller riders.

Every one of the top 10 riders in the 2017 Iron Butt Rally were riding on RDL saddles. And fully 50% of the rest of the pack were as well.

They just can't be beat for serious LD riding...

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from . . .

+1. I have yet to have my new RDL out on the road (Winter), but I have spent hours sitting on it in my garage. I can tell you, in that setting, it's wonderful.

The RDL Day-Long is a pricey seat and worth every penny.

50k on this RDL, did another 50k on the one on my previous RT. Couldn't have done a third of those miles on a stock seat.

We've put over 140,000 miles so far on Russell Day Long seats between our RT and now GT - an excellent investment for long distance all day comfort without question.
