Ordered the Sargents Seat

Waiting for it to come in the mail I ordered the back rest as well for my 2019 K1600 Grand America. I choose them because of the 30 trial and warranty they offered no questions asked. They also supply there own pan which has integrated heated seats so it was just all plug and play.

Hopefully this was a good investment. I will keep posting on this thread for a complete review and my opinion on this seat.

I recently got a Sargent for my gt. A definite improvement over stock.

Place your hands above your head and wave them about as if there are no repercussions

The material is vinyl that seems on par with the stock material, I got the upgraded dtx(?) for a little added grip vs the smooth, along with blue welting to match the bike. The only issue I had was that the rear section was a little loose when everything was put back together. I don’t like stuff like that so when I checked things out my highly calibrated eyeball noticed that the little rubber spacer/bumpers Sargent uses o the rear tabs were just slightly thinner than the ones bmw uses. Took the ones off the stock seat, put them on the new one, everything good. Mind you, I have a gt and not a B, so it may not be the same for you. Btw, they recently upgraded their heated seat unit, mine works better than stock, believe it or not. I couldn’t even feel the stock seat on the lowest couple of settings, this one I definitely do.

I just got one for my GTL. It arrived in time for my trip to Americade and I'm very happy with it - I found a significant improvement over the stock seat.
