I pulled into a big Harley dealership a while back to see if they had a replacement visor for my Shoei Neotec II. It was a Sunday so I was surprised to see ANY dealership open. Turns out they were getting together some sort of ride out with an armada of beautiful chrome specimens with custom paint jobs. But I'm thinking there were a few envious glances at my K16GT. Could have been my imagination?

Probably not going to sell my Harley my wife is already laid her foot down on that one she said if I sell it Your not getting another one She likes the camaraderie of that bike and most of our friends have them so it’s not hurting anything to keep it other than insurance. She has also said she is more comfortable on the Beamer it’s got a better seat that’s about as far is she has taken it so far Let’s see what happens after my Sturgis trip

You can still ride with your Harley friends on a BMW... you just have to wait for them to catch up.

There's some great camaraderie with this group. You should make the run up to the MOA in Great Falls Montana next summer and meet up with a bunch of us.

Arrow 2018 Grand America is Gold!

Outstanding choices in bikes! I have the same color and options you have down to the forged wheels. It is indeed a Grand bike for sport touring or just cruising. I have to admit I short shift or "am a lugger" from 40 years of Harleys exclusively. As I'm getting use to the higher revs, I'm starting to extend the rpms on the bottom end.

I've bounced it off the rev limiter quite a few times though, once I'm really rolling, so that's got to go!

I agree with a you and Flyjets, don't get rid of your hog, it's altogether a whole different style, ride, and experience. It's all good!

Cheers to an excellent bike!
