Clearwater 15% off Veterans Day sale

Looks like Clearwater Lights is having a sale for vets on Monday. I think that's better than their show price.

Question

no link?

Supposedly, Ben Franklin said beer is proof God wants us to be happy. So, does my love of beer mean I'm closer to Him?

Like detailing your bike prior to a trip virtually guarantees rain for the first day ... I just bought my Clearwaters at the Lebanon Rally in June. After waiting 8 years.

You’re welcome!

I just tried putting my Darla covers over the OEM lights. While I could sort of get them on, I have no confidence that the stay without something else being used to secure them.

The Clearwaters are a pure cylinder. The OEM fogs are tapered in a way that make it seem that the Darla covers would just slip off with a bit of vibration.

I used the Touratech light guards and used clear silicone glue to attach the Clearwater Darla yellow lens to the inside of the guards. Provide protection for the light and is removable if desired.

I installed a 40" light bar on my sons 4X4, the lights had a yellow film (same color as CW yellow), there was a 6" piece left over, so I am going to fit that over the OEM lens. Im sure you can buy colored lens film on line somewhere.

For at least the 2012 they fit but the design of the OEM light is such that you will need some additional way to keep the covers on as the OEM lights are scalloped around the outside perimeter and slightly larger than the Darla light which can allow them to slip off.
