I put the bike on center stand.
I slid a piece of 3/4" piece of plywood under the rear tire.
Then I used a long pry bar to lift the tire up to align the holes.

Great tips Guys. I'm looking for the torque values for the 3 bolts and cant seem to find them. Would anybody have them by chance.

@peanut with a 2018 you should have all 3 bolts the same size. The value should be 50nm or about 37 ft lbs. Older bikes
had 2 different size bolts, so 2 different values.

Early models with two size bolts , large bolts 50nm small bolt 45 nm .
