Just so you know

Not saying these are the best prices out there, but Rocky Mountain is having a tire special.

Rocky is now charging sales tax. Moto tire still does not.

I saw that when I ordered the Dunlops today. A bit disappointing but I went ahead and bought them anyway. Figure the $40 rebate makes up for it.

'twas a good thing while we had it (no sales tax internet purchases), but I actually can understand the implementation of state sales tax now that internet sales have a good foothold and our poor states don't get the revenue they feel they need. (Some sarcasm, but not all). I'd like to support b&m stores, but they're becoming archaic (no selection, no service, overpriced, and just plain inconvenient to run from store to store looking for something in vague hopes of finding it). Good luck if you're looking for some of the basic electronics stuff Radio Shack once had on the shelves (even though it was junk). Pardon my rant while I order some tires from Rocky Mountain.

I just bought a set of T31's from Rocky Mountain, mostly because they add the convenience of submitting the rebate for me. Otherwise, I'd buying them from another online vendor.

Not all online stores are charging sales tax. So are they are all eating it?
