+1 - neighbors concours and my GTL use same tires so I try to keep a set on the wall

So much love in the air... brings tears to my eyes.
Seriously... It is great to see people putting themselves out for others. This day and age, everything being all about $$ and all the PC crap going on here in the US... just nice to see!!

Cheers to you all!!

I usually do not have an extra set of tires. Have ordered as needed. However could have them drop shipped here.

Same here, I think RMATV can have them here in 2 days. I'm about to test that here shortly on a new set of Angels.

I don't have a tire changer but we can take the wheels to the local shop and have them changed and balanced.

I'm listed in the Anonymous book as having tools etc. which means I can do tire changes and other normal repairs. Overnight lodging if need be also.

Hmmm....not sure how this is supposed to work? I think a need exists on a periodic basis to exercise these plans for tire change assistance.

I will volunteer to pick a location, say Gunnerts'?, and have a rear tire shipped. To make it more realistic, i will call from side of the road and say I have a plugged tire and on the way!!
Your welcome, anything to help!!

A consolidated list of volunteers with a map would be nice. I'll volunteer in the north DFW area. I just got the first use out of my K&L tire changer when I picked up a screw right at the edge of the sidewall on my new Accord. New tire is $262 shipped to the house. Ouch. Tire had only 2999 miles on it.

I am currently looking for something new.

I am on my third set of PR4's. Almost 4,500 miles on this set.
My tires would probably go another 5,000 miles based on tread wear on the center line.
However, the sculpting on the side walls says time to replace the tires.

We have gone over the bike from top to bottom. Nothing loose or misaligned.
At the dealers suggestion we tried 44 psi front and rear.
The last set we tried 40 psi to no avail.

Is anyone else seeing this issue?

JMac, this is a Road Trip Tire Co-op Thread; are you looking for someone to install tires for you while you're on a trip?

Sorry to all, I have too many windows open.

I think a co-op is a great idea. I am planning a trip to CA to visit family.
Tires are a definite part of the equation. A co-op would be a great help.
