The fan does come on at 1 cooling indicator segment earlier than it did before. Glad I got it.

Glad you like it, I have the handheld device on the way. What octane gas are you running Stage 2 on? 91 or 93? Chris at Bren told me he has plenty of riders who run the 91 but the peak performance from Stage 2 requires 93 octane. We out here in CA are governed by...?? 91 octane only. Thanks in advance.
I also live in CA and asked them the same question. Chris told me the same. 91 octane is fine, but 93 is optimal.

Iím going to look for 93 in my area to see if there any noticeable difference. Otherwise, itís 91 95% of my riding.

I hit the QT on the corner...91 with no alcohol. I donít know that I could name a local 93, but itís probably out there.

There is a website called find93.com that shows area gas stations. Problem is, the data is populated by users rather than by companies that provide 93, so it's less than complete.

I just learned this a day or two ago. Internet search “gas stations with 93 octane” or similar...should give you a variety of options in your area if they exist. Have your location services “OK” (on) if your using your phone and it should map up to your area.

I can speak for one CA rider (me) and others I suspect, would love to know how Stage 2 does on 91 octane with real world experience from forum members. Thanks!

Who knew? It seems that most Petro Canada Stations, at least in the Toronto Ontario area all carry Ultra 94. It still has ethanol tho.

I am running 91 octane and I took the K1600 out after the Stage 2 mod. While I can't say what 93 octane would do, the Stage 2 on 91 transformed my K1600 into the fastest K1600 I've ever ridden (that's about 5 different bikes). It's a very strong performer now. Very happy with it.

Interesting. It shows a 76 station very close by with 101 octane. The calculator shows a 4:1 ratio mix with 91 to get 93. I wouldn't make a habit but it's tempting to try out, if it's really there.
