none Had the GT II's put on today. Left the dealer in pouring rain and seemed to have good grip in the rain. Will update with more mileage.

Considering I have NEVER had a tire last longer than 6500 miles (Pirelli Angel GT2 A Spec did that) and I consider myself a spirited rider, I'd say that you either ride very gingerly OR the roads that you ride on are a completely different material that doesn't eat tires.
The fact that there are others near you, who probably ride the same roads leads me to believe that you have a magic tire that you are holding back from us. I mean, there's a considerable difference between 6500 and 15000 miles that some huge difference has to account for.
Think any of us that get excited about getting 4 to 5000 miles out of the new GT2 A specs would have to agree with you..

I have even gone out on the track and lead somewhat spirited parade laps, and the track instructors were amazed at how well the bike can handle and get over.

I came off of a CBR1100XX.

I ride the GT and put the rear BMW trunk on because I don't like the riding position of the GTL and felt I was giving up performance.

Gunnert @Pee-Larr Handley , I can assure you that riding "hard" in your area differs GREATLY from riding hard in my area...

Pee-Larr Handley I have been running Angel GT Aspecs since I got my 2012 GT. I have never gotten anything less than 10,000 miles on them. The only time I had an issue with a set was when I got them from a friend of mine who was a professional stunt rider. He cycled the tires so hard that I went through the wear bar and made it to chords before I realized it. I know it sounds crazy, but I change my tires out after every 2 services, and I get the service done after 6,000 miles. One thing I did notice is that I ride the bike in Dynamic mode, with the suspension set up in sport mode 2 up. This setting allows me to get the maximum performance out of my tires and I feel the pest performance in the twisties as well.

I am trying out the Angel 2 front right now. Was on my way home from Canada and caught a nail in a construction site. They didn't have any Angel GT's at the Cycle Gear on a Sunday, only a 2 and it wasn't an Aspec.

Jonnybow 15000 MILES on ANY tire except dark side is simply ridiculous.
