Bought new June 2001 in Ellsworth, ME while visiting family and rode 4000 miles back home to TX via FL.
I got 80,000 great miles out of it over 12 years before it was totaled April 16, 2013 when an SUV entered my lane from the left 30 feet in front of me. Shattered my tibia badly when I went down. My knee was between the Kuryakin Hypercharger and the pavement when it slammed onto the pavement. An engine guard would have prevented that and let me walk away. Lesson learned!
