Hi
Got to the speakers but unfortunately couldn’t open the box that hold the speakers. I have read the thread where some suggest using a heat gun. Is that the only way to go? Attached are pics of the speaker box

You need heat to soften the glue which holds the casing together. I put mine in oven at 60 C and carefully pried the casing open.

+1 oven will work if no heat gun available. A hair dryer m i g h t work if the ambient temps are warm enough to allow the plastic to retain enough heat as you work your way around the perimeter. It will come apart without breaking if you heat it up. If you don't, I don't believe you can do it without damage.

Another alternative would be your dryer on high, if you have a stationary drying rack insert. Dryers typically get to 130f which is enough to soften the glue, the oven will be better.
