Thanks for looking up the part numbers. I have seen video of a 2017 with a GPS, from a bike show, it looks fine, but it may have been a Nav V. The person doing the video did not say.
So given the parts have not changed, if a Nav VI looks good in a 2017, then there must be adjustments that can be made,

I added the Shad box like many here have done. It looks great, I got the carbon fiber looking topped one, added a BMW roundel to it and all is well!
