I have upgraded from 2018 GTL to 2022 GTL with new TFT and Bluetooth functionality, but note the usb connection in the right foot compartment is no longer there.

Has anyone found where the USB stick with mp3 songs can be plugged into the post 2022 bikes with tft screens?

Thanks everyone. Looks like BMW took a step backwards 🙈
With the iPhone connected, the only way to use the wonder wheel for the audio forward/backwards is to be actually in the media menu. You can’t move forward/backwards, if you are in any other screen. Looks like another failing by BMW.

While I have often used a USB stick on my 2019, running it through the K1600 and out to my Helmet via a Sena SM10 transmitter, I get better quality music to my helmet when I have my ZumoXT mounted (2nd Navigation unit in addition to my Nav VI) stream directly from the ZumoXT to my helmet bluetooth. I have the same music files on both the USB stick and upload to the ZumoXT memory...I found it interesting the music quality is better from the ZumoXT, which may be due to a later Bluetooth version.

Long shot:
Does anyone have any diagrams for the media/bluetooth unit under the seat or know if any of the terminals are for AUX, which could take a usb memory stick with songs?
Alternatively, are there any plug in terminals behind the tft screen for such purposes?
Has anyone used the bike's phone holder usb to see if it goes beyond just a changing port or accept a memory stick?
Or has BMW forced us to add-on after market carplay type units and clutter up the dashboard?

Trust me, we have a 23 ourselves, and full schematics. There aren't any inputs into the system other than bluetooth. If you're not a fan of importing it all into your phone, perhaps an iPod or MP3 player with bluetooth you could toss into the compartment up top and stream into the OEM unit?
