Welp, after years of being thwarted by various maladies, right knee injury, then my wife's heart surgery, then the left knee, etc., I'll be there by myself, and bunking with 3 of you other fine folks in the bunkhouse, which doesn't require me to carry a tent and pad. I don't expect anyone else to be excited about it, and I don't even expect anyone to be excited FOR me, but after a period of years where the worst thing physically that happens all year happens to you around this time, I'm sure happy for myself. Looking forward to meeting those of you I haven't met before.

We’re calling on our motorcycle family to help make this year’s 50/50 Raffle even more exciting!

We welcome new or nearly new motorcycle-related donations (and adult libations to address aches and pains after a ride) to add to the prize pool. If you have an item to contribute, please drop it off with Len at the Creek House, located to the left of the Lodge.

This year, we’re also spreading the aloha spirit by donating $100 from the 50/50 raffle to the BMW MOA Foundation as a thank-you for their support.

@dobervol I thought there was only one bunkhouse on the property. Are there two?
I don't know for sure, but I only thought one. But that said, there were no spots there yesterday, and I was prepared to have to pay for a place to pitch the tent with an electric outlet today, as there were no spots in the bunkhouse available yesterday. But today a spot was open and I got confirmed. I just assumed it was full previously, but someone cancelled.

OK. I’m asking because the 4 beds in the Bunkhouse (assuming there is only one) have been reserved for months. I’m part of that group of 4, so I can say with certainty that nobody has dropped out.

Again, if there a second bunkhouse, a spot could have opened up. Still, you might want to check in again with IHML to be sure there isn’t a double booking.

@dobervol, there might be a mistake. I have two bunks reserved in the bunkhouse. I sent Sonya an email yesterday requesting my second bunk be assigned to @Arizona Jim. She confirmed she would make that happen today. Perhaps somehow you were assigned instead of Jim.

We will have to sort this out if there is a mistake. The other two bunks are already spoken for as well.

I thought there was maybe a seconf bunkhouse behind the covered parking shelter that is beside loading unloading ramp.

The second bunkhouse is an old trailer. There are 5 beds in it.

If that old bunkhouse still exists, it been moved. It doesn’t appear in Google satellite, and there is no reference to it on their website.

So...we may be back to God not wanting me to go. I’ll call tomorrow, unless someone else finds out something first.

@dobervol, you may be OK. I just received an email this morning from IHML stating my reservation and the 3 others are intact as originally planned.
I can only guess at this point bunkhouse two is back.

I hope it works out for you!

There are two bunkhouses! One should only be used as a last resort and the other one is ok.
and it should have been scrapped and replaced YEARS ago! LOL
I've stayed in both over the past few years. The "old" bunkhouse isn't as bad as some suggest. IHML keeps both clean and functional. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in either.
