Greetings,

Unfortunately, I have to tolerate quite a bit to live in Southern California (please don't get me started)...however, the weather is unbeatable. Therefore, after applying a little sunscreen, I'll be riding.

Gixxerific, might I suggest your hip at 4 o'clock...

Tell me how you go with 2nd last item, that would make me very happy if it could be done.
Ha it was joke i was waiting for someone to catch that. Yes it is possible I have known some guys forever that started a long time ago doing Busa's for drag racing, they now will do any bike and do very nice work.

Hi Commander
I purchased a Innov5 recently. It’s booked in to be installed early December. Once I work it out I’m sure I will put some short videos up.
I would install myself, doesn’t look to difficult, but I’m to busy and have fingers like Freddie Flintstone. Better to get the experts to do it
Thanks. Looking that camera system up as we speak!

Haven't even got the bike yet though i believe it is on the water from Germany as we speak ( i hope). As for winter i have several projects,

Oil plug fix From Lemke
Top case delete from Push FDP
Denalli D7 lights
Ez can
Blueseasky front and rear dash cam
Quad lock with BMW fork mount from Arizona Jim
Rear pannier guards (Illium)
Some sort of radar detector mount
Find an easily accessible place to store a pistol
Illium frame cover panels
Turbo installation
Possibly Betsy and Schroedie

Among other things, yes I have a problem. I will try to take videos of all installs.
Is the turbo installation a joke? i would like to see that

I live 5 miles from quicktimebikes. Had a brake line made there once. Would see them at the dragstrip sometimes when I was racing pro ET. They have some radical bikes.

Install the Betsy that is somewhere in my garage ? And, get the Freedom Exhaust on and blackout the heatshields on each side.. I decided to have the heatshields Cerecoated, since it has a much higher resistance to high heat loads, up to 1800F..

My GTL is good for now and into the next riding season.
Still waiting on some aftermarket parts/accessories for my Norden 901.
My S1000XR at 90K miles is going in for some major servicing and also a new Tractive ESA rear shock from Ted Porters BeemerShop.
Lastly I`m eyeballing the 2023 R1250 RS...Please no mention of this to my wife!

some are for sure, some likely, others that are maybe.. get the wings and dings on the body work repainted, add pin striping, change some plastic color to black, modify the pillion so my wife is struggling not to slide forward, modify the seat so there is not a big gap between it and the tank in the high position, make the upholstery black with blue diamond stitching, clean radiator and flush, replace air filter, add ilium highway pegs, new battery, rear modulator

Not sure if you'd call it a project but the new GTL needs a new pair of tires, went with Dunlop at the suggestion of my dealer, I will mount them or have them mounted sometime this winter. I am thinking about a new seat and windshield, and that's about it.

For us in the northern half of the US, winter seems to have started to settle in this week. Any winter projects for your bikes while they are in semi-hibernation? I'll start with a simple one, but it'll solve much frustration for me.

--Add an external satellite radio antenna. Man is the reception on this bike horrid. My wife screams at me thinking I'm doing something to cause the radio to cut off and on and all I'm doing is something simple like, turning, riding under a thick cloud, etc. Lol....
Man do I feel you on that one. Just a heads up...i put an external one on mine on the right brake resevoir and honestly it didn't help much. I went with an XM radio car type but now thinking about going for one of the bigger ones if I can figure out where to mount it. I had one of the truck mirror types on my Goldwing and I never lost signal. I dont have a trunk rack so my mounting issues are limited.

@Bruce S I don't see why the car antenna would not work. There are a few on here that have had good success with them. I have 3 cars with the car antenna and i have no problem with them.

Just finished one of my winter projects: Replacing my Motorrad Garmin Nuvi VI with a Zumo XT on a mount I bought from a company in Italy that slides into the GPS holder and uses the bike’s power source.

(this photo is an example off the Forum. I will take pics of mine when I get back home).
My Nuvi VI crapped out on me, so Garmin is sending me a replacement. I decided to buy a Zumo XT because it has a bigger screen, more fully featured, is built for motorcycles, bluetooths well with my iPhone and Sena 20S and most of all is reliable.
It looks good in the adapter and so far works outstanding.
other projects include better interior lighting and a UPS plug in my Top Box, and maybe a Bruntune, but still debating that one since my GTL is a 2016.

Thanks for the heads up. That's the exact antenna I'm planning on using. Going to mount in on top of the top box. Maybe I will reconsider the antenna type first!
