Installed bar risers and peg lowers on 2012 GTL. Anybody have experience with either or both?
Looking for a more comfortable and less sporty ride for long distance.
I have the riser /pullbacks on my GT and it made a world of difference by taking all the shoulder pain out of riding, it might be me but the bike seems to turn in better on the sweeping bends etc. We have 2 members in the USA that make the risers I bought mine from China but changed the crappy blots for quality bolts. So far I have had no issues with the cheaper Chinese items.

I added @jryan19 risers to my GT. Made a world of difference for long rides. My spinal neck muscles would tire and cramp before due to the slightly fwd lean. I have highway pegs for extending legs/knees. I don’t wish to reduce ground clearance or lean angle.

I too have the @jryan19 risers. GREAT product, easy install. When I first bought the '12 GT I temporarily installed Suburban Machinery Peg Lowering Kit. I say temporarily because I was scraping pegs on the first ride. I immediately removed and sold the pegs...
