My new D7s arrived. I am going to like them I do believe. I wanted more control than hi/low/off so I also purchased the SmartCan controller which integrates with the wonder wheel and is pre-programmed for several functions like strobe with horn and strobe with flash to pass, etc.
My issue: the new lights illuminate when the bike’s ignition is turned on. But the lights will not stay illuminated. I can cycle through some of the functions like dimming via WW, or the strobe effect with the horn, but usually only one function can be tested as they only stay ON for a few seconds. At first I thought it might have been an issue because the bike wasn’t started as it was in my basement. But everything is re-assembled and I started the bike once outside. Same results. No bueno...not staying on.
Any suggestions? I looked for a troubleshooting page on the Denali website, and on Twisted Throttle the vendor. Nothing found. Did a quick search on here, and a couple other forums. Nothing directly related to my issue turned up. I’ve submitted a request to Denali for help through their website, but don’t expect any response until Monday at the soonest. I’d like to see them working full effect before that! :smile:
Install was straight forward...plug and play...and it isn’t completely broken because it will work for a moment. Anyone resolve a similar situation?
