I had the same issue happen to me this past summer and I used the heat from the sun and a hair dryer as suggested by other forum members to help dry the unit up. In about three days the unit's electrics dried out and it began to work again. No more direct full water blasts (pressure washer or hose) aimed at the rear directional for me!
