I purchased a 2014 K1600GT last Fall and have ridden it about 1,000 miles since then. It now has about 22,000 miles on the odo. About 200 miles ago the front end recently began noticeably squeaking about 8-10 miles into a ride. The noise occurs when riding over road irregularities or braking. I took the bike into my local BMW dealer. They inspected the frame and suspension and couldn't find anything wrong, although they may not have test-ridden it enough for the noise to occur occur. It's gotten worse since I took it in to them. The front brakes activation doesn't seem as smooth as it should. I'm not certain whether the noise is suspension or brake related. I don't feel any looseness or unsteady handling at highway speeds. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks.

I had a similar issue, dealer replaced the front shock under warranty, mother ship had them do all kinds of things first, but in the end the shock was replaced. Very pricey if not under warranty.

Probably front shock squeak, common issue with numerous posts on this forum. Here's one: https://www.k1600forum.com/forum/bmw-k1600-maintenance-do-yourself/27681-fix-your-front-suspension-squeak-least-while.html

I had in on my 2016 GT, it started around 15k. I brought it to the dealer, and they replaced the rubber bumper (jounce cushion). They said the mothership, requires that the dealer do that first. I didn't even make it home before it started back doing it. I sprayed some WD40 in that area, and it went away for a thousand or so miles, but came back.

It was a front shock squeak cured by a few squirts of WD-40 Specialist Dry Lube. Thanks for the recommendations.
