Interesting how you were able to attach the winglets. I've had mine off and there is a unique mounting system for them.

 

I had to pull the dash off to get to the fairing and made a template from a GTL to locate the holes and then got some well nuts.

 

Interesting. I could be wrong but I didn’t think the GTL comes in that color? You must have had the parts painted with a nice color match using the paint code?

 

Exactly, I had a friend paint them.

It's the Wunderlich Marathon screen (vented). Yes, I like it quite a bit.

I had the opportunity to take the GT out for a ride. My observations are that I like the GTL mirrors over the GT mirrors. The visibility is an improvement with the GTL mirrors. I also noted less wind on my hands and forearms, which I attribute to the winglets. It's not a world of difference, but functionally, I think both modifications were a nice upgrade. Asthetically, I think it was an improvement as well. Had I not had parts laying around, I would not have been willing to incur the cost to do this, but the price was right.
