I had forgotten about this map and could not remember if I had placed a pin. It was interesting to see how many bikes were around me that I've never seen on the road. I guess we still are pretty unique. Thanks for setting up the map, even though I forgot about it.

Maybe it should be on the top of a section with a sticky? There are probably many who would add pins if they knew about it.
Hey Dan,

Its pinned at the top o the New Member Introduction forum.

Your probably just seeing it come up in the active topics list, much like I do when someone posts to it.

Where in the world is Big D? really?

Wow! I can't believe I'm the only "Dallas County" representative. Surely, there are others. I know there's other owners who aren't members of this forum. It would be nice to somehow get out the word of this forum's existence.

Any ideas?

I wonder how many forum members are choosing to remain somewhat anonymous?

I added a message that I'm willing to help other bikers in need. I realize I could provide contact info, but I'm hoping anybody in this scenario can PM me.

pin drop done for Larry

Can you put mine on there for me?
Webster NY
I would love to see who else is with in 50 miles of me with a K1600

Larry, it's done for you. It looks like it's actually at corner of Elm and Dunning. I imagine you could move it if you'd like. I also added your first name in the dialog box. This is editable, also.

I hope I didn't take away the joy for you, but I did a quick looksy, and it appears Captain Kirk isn't far from you- just Northwest of the Braddock Bay Wildlife Management Area. You can look for others.

Anyone who can click that link on the first post of this thread should be able to place their own pin drop.

If you need someone to walk you thru it, just ask.

Raider17, your pindrop has also been added in Southwick, MA although I had no additional info. Please see my previous post to Larry. You should be able to edit yours. Need help, just holler.

Capt. Kirk, do u have ur communicator on?

Thats awesome. How do I connect with Captain Kirk?
Larry, I did not notice if he provided any contact info. You could review the map yourself by clicking the link in the first post of this thread. At the map, there is a search box where you can put in any info such as city or username, and it will display that part of the map. Find his icon/pin and click on it to see if there's any additional info. he included.

I'm not sure if it's still on this site, but there use to be a members list section (or whatever you call it) with whatever contact info each member was willing to list. They might have discontinued that here.

I'm rusty at using these forums, but you might try to PM Capt. Kirk (realize I am abbreviating here. I think his username has it spelled out). I think you can go to the PM section, enter a username, and if it's a good one, send him a PM. Hopefully, he will reply.

That's all I got. YMMV. If I find this info is wrong, then I'll edit it.

I dropped a pin! Coon Valley, WI
Another Coon Valley resident. I have a good friend from high school (Milwaukee) that landed in Coon Valley years ago...he just built a tow rope on his property for his boys. He says he likes my GTL best out of all of motorcycles... Two months ago, I found another high school classmate...she lives in Coon Valley, too! Spooky!
