Hi and welcome!
I went through this with my own '22 GT.
After the phone compartment is fully opened, look very closely at the exposed top edge closest to you (approximately in the middle). A USB-C, 90 degree socket is situated there and sits almost flush with the edge. Look for the shiny metal portion of the socket. It does not extend so you will need to provide an extension to reach your phone. There is a limited amount of space so it needs to be fairly short.
I finally gave in and purchased the appropriate BMW Motorrad item.
For my phone it was a USB-C to USB-C Adapter Lead p/n 61-34-9-899-950 @ $43.00 here in Ontario, Canada but it fits perfectly. No hassle. No mess.
Too bad BMW weren't able td provide induction charging on our machines. Big disappointment.
Anyway, I hope this helps. It's a great bike. Enjoy! Al

K1600 GT 2022 phone compartment has USC-C port? where is it? am still unable to find it
how do you charge you IP14 pro in the compartment.
I too had to search, found it with a flashlight on the top edge of the compartment closest to the rider. It takes a very short 2” cable. USB-C STRAIGHT on one end and 90 degree I-PHONE LIGHTENING on the other. My I-phone XR barely fits with the case off. From what I can tell it’s only for charging the phone not communicating with the bike.

i had the same problem, but me and my dealer found the port. I went to a Best Buy store and bought a cable, that is about 12 inches long and I just coil it up on the compartment, but if you could find a shorter cable, it might be more convenient.

BMW Motorrad has the proper adapter lead and it is a lot more convenient......if you can call it that. But much neater.

My solution, as posted before, is a cable to cockpit bag
View attachment 171433

No need to take phone out of case, easy for making payments, taking out when stopped etc. No problems in high heat, no direct sunlight, no water issues.
How did you fit the cable to the cockpit bag? Would a USB-C cable connected in the compartment work? But I don’t know if the compartment would close with a cable coming out of it.

Yes compartment closes with cable running out I ran mine towards front corner the weather strip works in after a bit. Go with a thinner cable not braided.

The compartment lid won't close if the cable comes out of the front as the seal is very tight but happily comes out of the back. I made a small incision in the bottom of my bag so the cable comes out of the compartment, bends, and then straight into my bag. It's a simple male to male USB-C cable. I also have a USB-C wireless charger that I use when I'm just using the bike around town. It seems to charge without needing a cable but on a long ride I plug directly in

If a 14 pro is a bigger i phone then it will not fit. The more standard version barely does
I got sick of plugging and unplugging cables so have gone wireless in the cubby, this setup cost less than $20 and as there is no cable plugged into the end of the phone then a larger phone can fit, tested out over a long weekend and had no issues at all.

I use a usb c wire run to my quad lock wireless charger on my bars from the compartment. It remains closed and I never have to open. The wire fits behind the tft screen and is pretty clean effect. I like my phone accessible as I run waze on the east cost to see police hazards etc.. I run a garmin zumo in middle that I transfer to my XR when on it (don't really like the BMW nav) and a valentine 1 radar. The xr is set up very similar so all my tech transfers from one to other

What is the mount that you are using for the center / Zumo? Looks like a nice clean piece of metal to replace the logo.

Just to add a bit to this thread a couple of other options I've come across while getting farkles ready for my new bike.

Wireless Ram Charger mount for those of us with bigger new phones that can't use the compartment.

And a hard wired USB C ... plus a MUCH less expensive alternative the the Wunderlich Multipod handlebar mount.
