OK, I did it. Here is a thread we can all participate in. There are about 9 of us and that's too many for a "conversation" on the private side. I'll try to list everybody and if you click "follow" I think you will get a notification when something new has been posted. Feel free to follow or check in once in a while.

@KCMO Steve
@Vandaldog
@Muchmore
@onad
@manslaw
@86Magna
@SRNYBERG
@Slinger105

Am I forgetting anyone??

I'll be at RC's in Martin City tonight about 7:30 to meet some guys in the LD Riders group. Have never met any of them. Meeting again tomorrow morning, kick stands up at 9:30 at Snead's at 171st and Holmes. I think it's 171st...just south of Loch Lloyd anyway. We will eat there at 11:30 after the ride. I think about 10 folks will be there, but I don't really know. Feel free to stop in and ride if you'd like. I'm the good looking guy who appears way too young to have this much grey hair. Otherwise, let's get together for a breakfast ride sometime soon. Perhaps with spouses or girlfriends, or not. Just don't bring both...I won't make that mistake again.

So my wife wanted to go down to Joplin and spend the day with her friend on Saturday. We went Friday night spent the night and Saturday morning I got up and headed to Arkansas. If any of you haven't been down there before it's incredible riding and beautiful all together.

I had NO IDEA Bikers Blues and BBQ was going on, I guess they canceled it in Fayetville so everyone came to Eureka Springs.

I rode about 350 between Eureka, Jasper, Low Gap, Bull Shoals. Great day for riding. Man Eureka was busy holey smokes, lots of pedaling the bike in traffic while in town. I tried a few miles of the Pig Trail and it was useless with a parade of bikes at 10-15 under the speed limit. Better smaller roads elsewhere anyway,

I had to drive to KC on Friday and noticed a ton of bikes heading south on I-49 (almost all Harleys). Wondered if that was what they were headed to.

Yeah it was. I had no idea or I would have steered clear of Eureka. The funniest thing was, on the way home I had the cruise set at about 78 and this HD came by pretty quickly. So we sped up a little and started following them. Guy and gal were running about 97 on a Street Glide (no helmets now of course), I was actually impressed. Eventually, I heard him get into it he must have been tired of me following. He grabbed a gear, I grabbed the throttle. He grabbed another gear I grabbed more throttle. When we hit a straight spot I did grab a couple of gears and proceeded with a high-speed flyby.

A few miles up the road after I had slowed back to sane levels with cruise set he met back up with us and gave me thumbs up with his arms outstretched like to say "What am I going to do"

I should add if you haven't been to AR you should go some time. We don't pay for just the middle of the tire! ---Or I mean @J-Luv doesn't pay for just the middle! 🤣 🤣

Been there many a time. The roads are, most definitely, better than the ones around here. Then again, they don't hold a candle to the ones in eastern Tennessee or North Carolina!

I've been down there too about this time of year. I was talking to a few guys and they said Eureka Springs was a spill over town for BBB. After a couple night I got so tired of revving Harley engines.
This year since the other town canceled Eureka was the SOLE city. Even all of the factory HD semi's were there with booths set up. It's tough when you get stuck behind a whole line of them and there is always one that runs super-rich stinking up the entire line.

For that town that must have been a mess. No thank you!

Wife and I are riding done the weekend of the 9th to Harrison and meeting Dave and his wife. Dave was the 'wing rider who made the trip to Dan's lake house back in spring. I've hardly any miles on since then. I'm just about to wrap up the room addition I've been spending every spare moment on. Looking forward to it....rear car tire and all.

There was a long distance riders gathering a month or so ago. Met a LD rider and IBA finisher on a ZX-14 with a CT. Also got to meet and sat with Wendy Crockett during lunch. She made the stop during a long cross country run. She the one and only Wendy who won the IBR 2 years ago.
