Had a great day. Was in a focused groove all day. Carved it up. Bike was superb. Was on top of the world. Hit almost all the yellow on this map.

Right up to the moment I rec’d performance awards. Doh! 16 hrs start to stop day. Almost 700 miles.

I’m targeting the weekend of Mar 25th. The forecast may become a factor. Not even looking at that for now! I’m just getting some cabin fever. Pencil it in on your planners. Will be in Eureka with the wife soon without the bike. That is not going to soothe the desire to twist a throttle. It’s a cold icy morning here today….

Good morning all. Forecast currently looks good enough to plan to ride down early Sat morning and have breakfast, maybe at Oscar’s, and then ride the best roads south and east of Eureka Springs. Make a day of it. Maybe stay somewhere Sat night or push it on home. Undecided. My son will be riding pillion with me. Will show him a good time whether or not anyone else is able to join. But throwing it out there to get a decent spring ride in to start the season. Lemme know if anyone from anywhere is interested.

I hope everyone is doing well. It's a blazing 34 degrees in Topeka. I have to go put a cv axle in a honda that is in a parking lot today. Of all the years working on vehicles I've never seen a knuckle come apart at the wheel side. The shaft was just hanging.

We have been super busy around here. We have started a Lavender Farm. It's taken 3 years to get going. Last year we planted 500 plants and we are planning to do another 500. We are still finalizing plans to build a 40x80 shop. Last November I bought a 1975 Cushman Truckster. It'll be for the farm. I'm working to get the motor and mechanically sound. Then we will paint it. Here's a few pictures.

It would depend on the day (I work a goofy work schedule), but I'd definitely be interested in seeing that museum before it moves.
