Ahoj, jsem tady nový a tak bych chtěl představit svůj stroj.

Welcome to the forum, @StB, it's a good one. Tons of information and great people.

I see you're on one of the original bikes, a 2012. It still looks great. Has it been yours from its beginning or did you pick it up gently used?

Hi and thank you for the welcome.
My K1600GT is made in 2011 and the first owner was from Italy. I am the second owner and in a year I drive about 12000km (7500mi). In total, the motorcycle has a counter of 95000km (59000mi) and is still in great condition.
I made a few adjustments: I added a radio, GPS, cell phone holder, or replaced the front plexiglass.
I'm sorry, I speak very bad English, Mr. Google translates for me.

My stock 2018 K1600 GTL. I had a deposit on a new Wing and took this bike for a test ride on a whim. After experiencing the power and handling, I went and got my deposit back. I live on the east coast of the US, love touring throughout New England on this machine.

One of our favorite rides--she really enjoys the mountain air--is the trek up White Face Mountain, the location of the famed winter Olympics. We've been cross country, but the Adirondack Mountains are a favorite. The adaptive lights make a difference moving through the pitch-black night with no ambient light and one curve after the other on flawlessly paved roads. Don't leave home without skin protection (the ride is sweet but night riding leaves surfaces splattered with bug debris). I use Xpel Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film. Listening to my mini-iPod through the audio system adds to the ambiance.

Still waiting on the perfect shot, but thought I would include what I took this weekend. Picked up this 2018 K1600 B about 6 weeks ago, and I am above impressed. It already had a Sargeant Seat and backrest, Areo windshield and Areo wings to help with wind management. Last week was kinda hectic here due to the gas shortage with the pipeline being down. But with a 280 mile range, I decided to take a chance and hit the road. Went with some buddies on their spyders and also a Yamaha Eluder and a Yamaha FJR 1300. This bike seems to be the perfect combination of the Eluder and FJR. So far I am loving it. The original owner had a set of lowering plates, but I had to replace them with the original ones because I love the twisties and needed the extra ground clearance. Well, enough of that, her is my baby.

Farkles: Forged wheels, Akropovic exhaust, Bren Tune Stage 1, Nav VI, Skene Photon Blasters, Vandaldog windscreen modification, Jim Ryan risers, Escort Max 360 on RAM mount, Illium engine guard and highway pegs, Wunderlich brake and shift extension, lift handle, multi-pod, Quad Lok iPhone mount, DIN to USB power adapter, Nelson-Riggs tail bag.

My favorite part of the K1600 is the smooth and ample power, the long-mileage comfort, and the way it tracks like a train in the sweepers.

Last May I had a unique motorcycling experience. It was the height of the covid lockdown and I had to move my K1600 from Tucson to Denver. I chose the scenic route from Flagstaff exiting I-17 onto US 89. I made Kanab and after a good night's sleep, I continued on US 89 to Utah SR 12 where I hung a right toward Bryce and entered the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument of southern Utah. This SR12/24 to Hanksville is perhaps the best ride in the country but it wasn't till I was crossing a broad valley that I realized I was the only vehicle in sight in any direction. I knew then that I was in the middle of a once-in-a-lifetime experience - riding the Grand Staircase...alone.

Mods include - "Wonderlish" Windshield, Highway Pegs, and BMW Allow Wheels.

I enjoy the power of this bike, suspension, handling, and most of all the look.

Picked her up in January. Brought her my storage facility. Stared at her for over two months. Along with my previous ride. A 2007 ST1300. Sold that bike and finally brought her home end of March. Today finally got to ride for over five hours. A little over 200 miles. What a dream. Smooth. Responsive. And the wife digs her too. Bonus
