Greetings,

Today, FedEx delivered T-Rex's baggage protection bars for my '22 K1600B. They fit perfectly and took only 5 minutes to install...seriously, that easy. They are sturdy, well made and fit like a glove. I hope to NEVER use them, however, they will provide great piece of mind...just in case. Ride safe.

Nice! I had T-Rex brand on my FJR. I like the replaceable damage “pads”. The bike falls asleep and I don’t have to touch up the paint.

@USMC G2, you left the side cover off for the photos. Does the side cover…cover up the upper mounting bolts?
The T-Rex bars look to be mounted differently than most other brands. I do like the replaceable “scratch pads”. Looks great !!

Aluminum...mounting was easy, even for Marines...three bolts and you're done.

Looks good Jarhead!!! I emailed them last night in regards to them possibly producing a rear luggage rack and seat rest.. I like the prices of their products as they don't try to take your entire wallet.. Ordering the bag guards today as they are about the only set you don't have to remove the saddle bags to install.

You guys have peaked my interest. I tried to buy the Ilium ones but the were out of stock.

I went to the T-Rex site and there’s two listed but they look identical with the exception that one has 4 point mounting and the other is 3. There’s a price difference as well. What am I missing?

I had the Illum bars (locate under the bags). Did not see how they protected the bags in a tip over. Sent back and got a refund. The T-rex,you see extend beyond the bag and are better built. Made in USA.

Thanks for the feedback @SonnySpk! T-Rex lists 2 different crash bars and I wasn’t sure the difference. Wasn’t sure which one to get from T-Rex

Ill try them Monday, hopefully military or law enforcement. I'm trying to get the bike ready for my trip to see the daughter in June. Riding from the Memphis area to Colorado Springs, CO. should be a good ride. Received my luggage in the mail yesterday.
