Hi gang

I just got blasted for making a joke and posting a image of a BMW S1000 on this BMW 1600 forum.
The poster said

"I'll ask you to remove this entire thread since this is a K1600 forum and the bike obviously isn't. Ball's in your court"
Well I believe a lot of you DO HAVE another motor in the garage, and would like info on that bike also.

So here is a Happy customer that does have a GTL but just purchased a BMW R1250R

He ordered PREMIUM COLOR RKA 50 liter expandable saddlebags. Which are "Made in the USA" right here in Windsor, Califorina, by this lady, .... my wife Kathy the "K" in the RKA .... and she rides a BMW F800R

Kathy can do something like this for YOU
Just a note ... The 50 liter saddlebags are a LOT bigger than the RS/R hardcases.

He Looks pretty happy to me. ?

In addition to my 2014 K1600 GTLE I have a 2007 R1200 GS. I sold a 2006 K1200 LT and a 2008 R1200 RT during the last year - too many bikes for the garage space I have and the LT and the RT weren't getting ridden very much.

I have a 2016 R1200RS that I purchased while I had my 2012 GTL. Traded the GTL for a GA in 2018. The RS is my commuter bike to save the GA for touring miles and keep it out of the daily 82 mi. round trip to work.

I have K1600GT, F850GSA and S1000xr. Not many s1000xr forums around so I always appreciate crossover.

Sorta like 86magna. I have a R1200GS, 2005 air cooled though, as well as the 2015 GTL. And as DrearyUrbanite, had a K1200LT for 10 years. Also really liked my R1100RS, the Kawasaki, not as much, lotsa dirt bikes and enduros, wait, I think I’m showing my age here...Anyhow, I think I’m sticking to the ones I have for awhile as the wife may not tolerate too much of this obsession,

I've owned a 2016 K1600 GT Sport for three years and love it for solo riding and short-to-medium distance trips. I'm buying a 2020 Goldwing Touring DCT for the benefits of the DCT, far better two-up riding, and for ultra-long trips in comfort. Love both bikes, but for different reasons. I'm fortunate to have both at my disposal.
