just caught up here on all the Tassie posts - it was such a great trip! I'm interested in the number of posts saying ''just remove the radiator to clean it".......I'm guessing it can be done without dismantling the whole front fairing or removing the front wheel? I've only got a very basic garage setup which means bike stays on the ground! Damian, your photo is clearly with the stone guard removed - again I'm guessing its pretty straightforward?

I did try Brads suggestion of squeezing a hose in behind the radiator, but results didn't seem to do much, mainly because of the limited space...

and while I'm in posting mode - I should be recovered by this time next year for another trip - especially if I only get one shoulder replaced, do next year's trip, and then do the other shoulder!

Are you referring to my photo? I removed the stone guard for radiator cleaning, I don‘t remove the radiator.

Sorry John - yes it was your photo! - easy enough to remove stone guard?...your photo shows quite a collection of gravel!!

Theres a clip tab thing that goes into the underside of the metal locating tabs at the top, I just carefully slide a small flat head screwdriver in, and wiggle it, it should Come off without to much trouble
