If this is a new acroynim I'll take credit for the "BOG = Beemer Owners Group" handle and now make my contribution back to all the owners / riders of the new K1600 series bikes, whom I have learned so much from these last few months.

Modified by STeinar: Please find the manuals in the documentation section : (I pasted a link to a temporary Skybox for the 65mb of .pdf files, 'cause can't load to this forum) I recieved the dealers service repair manual on CD and extracted for the K16, as the disc covered other models also.

So that's the whole story on how these docs ended up available to y'all. Learn and enjoy the toy.

I'm pretty sure this service manual copy is incomplete. Most of the steps refer to a step "remove air guide for [left/right] air intake pipe" but not one of any of those PDFs actually describes this step. I downloaded every one and used my viewer's search tool to search all of them for a part of that text.

Also to remove the middle cover of the fuel tank, the instructions say to first remove the top sections of the left/right fuel tank covers, then the actual left/right fuel tank covers. But none of the PDFs describe those steps.

FWIW, I recently purchased the service DVD for my RT and find the same deficiencies on it. No descriptions of removal processes for panels, covers, or ancillary parts associated with a described process. So I am inclined to believe nothing is "missing" in that regard from these files.
