According to the K1600B manual, the defined time and distance for the turn signals to cancel can be set by the dealer. I asked my dealer to reduce the time/distance on my bike by 50% and when I picked the bike up after the breakin service they claim they made the change. Unfortunately I can’t tell any difference and they still stay on WAY TOO LONG requiring manual cancellation. Has anybody else tried to have the time/distance reduced?
I’m more than a little surprised that a bike this technologically advanced won’t self cancel the turn signals. Did I forget to check the option box for the ATSCAP (Automatic Turn Signal Cancellation Assist Pro) when I ordered my bike?
My 2016 Indian Vintage Chief has selfcancelling turn signals that work well so I know it’s possible. ?
