Our house may catch on fire tomorrow as I will be uploading zBrenTune stage two files to my sweet ‘16 GTL. State Farm home owner’s premium is paid and up to date and we live just across the street from our local fire department.

What could go wrong ?🙏🙂

Bruce...haven’t you heard...tuning a pre-18 K bike makes it prone to coolant failure...the world as you know it will end! All kidding aside, I hope you can make it to the MOA this year.

I weighed the option of the Bren Tune for my '12 GT. The quoted numbers (HP/TQ) increase was minimal but Bren rep said 'drivability' was greatly improved. I backed-off when rep told me they didn't have a dyno sheet with run; e.g. something about they didn't save it, etc. I interpreted his response as BS and that the <'16 K1600 tune was a computer generated tune with no data to back it up.

Bruce, I look forward to hear what you have to say about the tune but more important I'd like to see a dyno sheet particularly with A/F ration numbers.

@Duane, come on up Brother, you can take Cylon out. I will load the factory settings, then the mods.

Caution though, Cylon is a GA; you may feel a little naughty.

I will agree that the tune's effect on top-end performance is likely negligible, but the effect on my arc of pleasure is 25% or more. It is a measurable feeling between stock and stage 2. The only question is if you want the overhead of better gasoline.

I gave our fire department the rest of the day off-our house is still standing! Stage two files have been uploaded and I’ve ridden Sweet16 to our Church for a Red Cross blood drive. Sometime next week she and I can go out for a dance. Epilogue to follow...

I am Canadian, I interpreted this title completely inaccurately! Very interested in how this effects a 2016, as that should be the same tune as my 2014....

Stage 1 is the same as your 2014, Stage 2 increase A/F apparently but we have no proof. Up in smoke indeed.
Stage 1 might be marketed as the same as a 2014, which I am pretty sure would be the same as a 2012 and a 2015 which I have owned. Stage 1 flashed to my 2018 does not meet the performance levels (throttle response) on the 2012 and the 2015 I owned. Still love (the shift assist is incredible) the 2018, flash or not, but it's just not the same as the 2012 and the 2015.

I have only seat of the pants data. But the stage 2 Bren tune feels better than my 2013 GTL. My current ride is a GA. The power is a little smoother and pulls a little harder from even lower RPMs. That is power you can use all the time. No dyno sheets to show you.

On a 2018 you still have new emissions impacts to deal with. On the 2016 mentioned, not so much.
