Water pump improved design - replaced myself

I just purchased the concentrated BMW coolant 1 1/2 Liter container, Pentofrost at NAPA for $14. NAPA carries it on their retail shelf. Both Autozone and Oriellys did not carry it here in Minnesota. I still need the water pump and find many dealers (including Bobs BMW) are out there, but all list a price of $328 with free shipping. I did not find the K1600 water pump on website www.ecstuning.com.

Is this price fixing called "collusion"? Does anyone know where the pump, current version pn 11518544999 can be found cheaper??

I do have the CD manual but it is not quite clear on the disassembly / assembly process for the pump. for example, it does not specify to remove both hoses to the pump, or how to do it other than remove the screws. This whole process looks simple enough but thought I'd ask others who did this process. Are the hoses flexible enough to simply pull back on them?

Is there a certain pry or pull technique to remove the hoses, and in which order??

Will the one bottle (makes up to 3 liters of 50/50) be sufficient to refill the volume lost?

Nothing on YouTube.....

PS; cleaned/flushed the bugs from the radiator this morning following that week long Sturgis trip and flushed gobs of rocks and debri from the bottom of the center rock guard behind the front wheel. Amazing it collects debri.

After cleaning all residue and leakage from the water pump, I did a test run for a few miles and then looked at the pump again. I did witness a couple of blue drops of coolant dropping on the ground at rest, and the leakage appears to be coming from the weep hole. My experience with replacing many automotive water pumps is that leakage from the weep hole is an indication of internal seal failure and certainly requires replacement f the pump at this point.
I cut the bottom blade out of the rock guard and all the crap falls out the bottom.
