What?...no mid-Atlantic K1600 riders...?

...surely there are some...I know I've passed a couple in the Tidewater region of NC...:)

You will find out as you meet and talk to other K1600 riders that a large majority of them are either unaware of this forum or just don't do forums. During the past almost 7 years of K1600 ownership I would say 90% of those I've encountered aren't on this forum. Too busy out riding I guess.

I have not seen hardly any K1600's since moving to the Wilmington, NC area a couple months ago. For that matter, it seems any BMW sighting is a rarity down here.

Here ‘ya go: tarheelbmw.org. Based primarily in Fayetteville, NC. In addition check out BMWMOA.org for additional BMW clubs and activity. Lastly, hop on I 40West and ride up to Burlington for lunch some day.

Where is the Mid Atlantic?

I always considered De/Md/Va the Mid Atlantic, everything south of there is the South
I stand corrected, according to wiki...:

A United States Geological Survey publication describes the Mid-Atlantic Region as all of Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, along with the parts of New Jersey, New York, and North Carolina that drain into the Delaware and Chesapeake Bays and the Albemarle and Pamlico Sounds.
