I managed to get only around 300 klms in again today. I went down the central coast again this time on flooding across the roads but light showers then sunshine then poured down cats and dogs, I got home slightly dry took the hairy beast for his walk after he had his cooked chicken dinner. Then the bike was cool enough to wash and blow-dry it before putting it to bed. I am not sure an adventure touring bike should take 2.5 hours to wash dry and clean off all the muck that gets in all the nooks and crannies.
Nice to get out after all the torrential rain we have had over the last 3 to 4 weeks.

Work and back is about all... and I’ve two P’s courses this weekend...

I have a holiday booked in late May down the south coast and on return, I am having my mate paint the front bumper of the car due to stone chips. Plus I have the car's insurance due for renewal at the start of May. So expect me to be in the local bankruptcy courts. With no money to play with for a few months, then, of course, The wall to Wall needs to be paid for along with accommodation for that.
I have started my very own charity it is called st Vincent to Geoffrey all donations will be noted but not tax deductible.

Wall to Wall Remembrance Ride. Where – riders from every State and Territory will come together at Exhibition Park in Canberra to ride as one national group to the National Police Memorial
The Wall to Wall Ride event was established in 2010 and has grown from some 600 off-duty and retired police officers riding to Canberra from their home jurisdiction to “remember mates”, promote safe motorcycling, and raising funds for police legacies. The Wall of Remembrance in the Domain in Sydney is where the ride starts then continues via the New South Wales Police Academy for a lunch then onto Canberra to the Wall of Remembrance there for the final ceremony. It is also the start of Police week around the country.

Living in Colorado I did the Peak to Peak last week. Estes Park to Nederland, Co. Rated in the top 10 rides in America with an altitude climb of 5,000 feet over 30 miles. I've ridden it a number of times over the years but snow on the canyon roads makes it majestic this time of year.
