I don't think the switches have anything to do with auto-cancelling. Auto cancel on these bikes works either on time or distance travelled. There is no mechanism built into the switch itself other than the ability to manuallu cancel by pressing on the switch when it is in the center position.

 

Maybe a re-flash of the system? Will your dealer connect to the Mothership for you?

 

Just had the "Green N" update and this didn't make a difference. Is there another "flash" I should be looking for?

 

Auto cancel is worthless imo. It's just there in case you totally forget to cancel manually. HD has it all over BMW in this respect, and has done it for many years, not something new for them.

 

It should auto cancel after traveling 200 meters regardless of time or speed. Try it and see, if it doesn't, it's a software issue most likely.

 

Being new here and to the bike I noticed my didn't auto cancel but I just thought they didn't. The ST didn't either so I didn't think it was a big deal.
