Started 2500 mi road trip today, 200 mi in my rear tire goes flat, no tpms indication. No dealer anywhere close.. Cant see the cause, bike to be towed back home. Dunlop RS 3 with 600 miles on them-nuts!

Not a good way to start a trip for sure. Did you have a tire pump with you to try to pump it up? If so, I am surprised you could not find the source of the leak. If not, I have learned like most in this forum to carry a pump and tire plug kit with me even on short journeys. I will be curious what you found out about the cause of the flat. Hope you can get back on the road soon and enjoy that trip.

Lesson learned for me to carry a pump next time! I did find a puncture mark as bike loaded on wrecker, but nothing stuck in tire. Didnt try to get it up on ctr stand as i was on packed sand on side of road. Called bmw roadside assist and 2.5 hrs later a wrecker showed up and towed the bike back 175 miles to dealer. No closer bmw dealer, i was in pretty rural location. Dealers closed Sun-Mon as well. Had a tire patch kit with me but with no experience using it, in a lousy location, and at start of long trip through middle of nowhere, with bmw roadside assist, I thought best to bag the trip, have dealer check the tire, and try again next year.

First flat in 20 yrs of riding, interesting to say the least.

Guys,
Next time you change your tires ask for the old tire back. then you can practice with your preferred tire plug kit of choice.

Sorry to hear your story though. Kind of a bummer

after getting a flat the day I replaced the tire on my GSA and then again on my RT a couple years later, I got the BMW tire/wheel warranty (RT and K16) and carry a pump and plug kit.

Test your pump and make sure the CANBUS will support it or get alligator clips to the battery
