Denali / Hex EZ can Challenged....

Ok,. So I can do a lot of things but in fear of loosing points on my "Man card," I need some quick advice....

I have the Hex EZ can installed. I just received the Denali D2 Aux lights. Both the Denali and Hex information on three wire should be

basic setup but......

Quote: (*EZ Can)
"For ezCAN units with 3-wire connectors:
Solid colour (red/orange/yellow/white) to Denali light’s red wire
Black to Denali light’s black wire
Dual colour wire (red/white or white/black) to Denali light’s yellow or white wire."

So, the Hex EZ Can does not say to use the Denali wires from BOTH lights after they Merged and became one 3 wire.... Or to cut up the harness to have two lights with 3 wires EACH. Hex EZ Can has setting for separate inputs for two lights or both lights on one line from the EZ Can. I am sure it's an easy solution but I simply want to make sure before I butcher a Denali harness.

!) Do you run both colored wires from one of the lights (Orange red) together to the EZ Can orange and the black to black And the other light the same , (Just to the opposite EZ CAN LEAD.) ?

So.....Wiring opinions?

You have choices. If the max current of your lights is under 10A continuous, I'd put them on one circuit and use either program 3 or program 4. That leaves you with an option for connecting a horn that you otherwise do not get.

If you're using program 1, you hook up one Denali light to the red wire-set and the other to the orange wire-set. Denali Red and yellow both to exCAN red on one and the other Delani Red & Yellow to the exCAN orange. (If using program 2, swap red to yellow and orange to white on the ezCAN).

If you're using program 3 or 4, you short your Denali lights together and 3 wires into 2 like above as well....all Denali Reds and Yellows into one then to the ezCAN red (program 4) or ezCAN orange (program 3). Regardless of the program, the Denali blacks all connect to an ezCAN black.
Thank you for the reply that's spot on, I did answer my own question in my first diagram but your explanation added choices that I should consider, Thanks again!
