How to use BMW k1600 Built-Speakers.
While these speakers are awesome for music and navigation prompts, they can be surprisingly dangerous. The K1600's massive TFT screen has so many menus to navigate, and taking your eyes off the road to find the audio controls is a major safety risk.

He would really hate my routine. First thing I do is turn off the DTC. Second thing I do is turn on the sound system and start playing my 80's hair bands playlist. I don't screw with the anything going down the road after that. I guess you could say I am a multitasker being that I can ride and listen to music at the same time :ROFLMAO:

Thats one way for sure. I rely on my Cardo system for the music so it seemed a bit much to me and the warning is for the people who were already going to complain about the menus. Not for us K1600 fans.

I'm not sure I agree with your statements about the speakers and TFT being dangerous. I have button #4 programmed to turn the audio off, so it's kind of a non-issue, no menus needed.

But I guess we all need something to complain about.

You are correct and I agree with you as an accustomed K1600 rider. I did miss out I guess mentioning the memory buttons. I have mine set up for heating etc. Thanks for the reminder.

😆 yes I know. Right? But compared to my 2013 they are much better. However, compared to some HD systems and Indian Challenger or even R18 Transcontinental, they are mediocre. Then again, I never use them anyway.
