Hello everyone. I'm looking to mount an XM antenna under the passenger headrest like a member here on this forum did. I took out the two bolts on the inside of the trunk lid, but the pad isn't budging. I didn't want to force anything until I checked in with everyone. Am I missing some hidden fastener? I don't have the manual for the trunk as the manual I have is an for the older K1600's. Thanks!

As I recall it, on my GA, the screws that hold the backrest against the top case are accessed by first removing the inner plastic (under the lid).

OK, removed the four small screws from the liner. All that did is loosened the panels on the top case. I found the two screws by the hinges. The backrest seems loose now, but I think I need to remove the speakers before I move on. Any suggestions? The screws for the speakers are located under the top case panels??? WHo would have thought taking off a piece of upholstery would be so **** hard. I'm really trying to take it slow as I presume I'll bust some tab or other connector and will be buying some 1k part.

Can you tell me what I am missing?

I have found the two screws inside the lid and the ones near the hinges. But there has to be something left holding it in place.
